Thick 2oz Copper PCB for Better Heat Dissipation
Standard LED strips use 1oz copper PCBs. Our commercial-grade strips use 2oz copper — double the standard thickness. This provides two critical advantages:
- Lower voltage drop on long runs, maintaining even brightness across the full strip length
- Better thermal conductivity, reducing LED junction temperature and extending rated lifespan beyond 50,000 hours
For installations over 5 meters, the difference in brightness uniformity between 1oz and 2oz copper is clearly visible.
Strong 3M VHB Adhesive Backing
We use genuine 3M VHB (Very High Bond) tape on the back of every strip. Combined with proper surface preparation, this adhesive provides permanent bonding strength that holds reliably for the full lifespan of the product.
For aluminum profile installations, the 3M adhesive bonds directly to the channel surface, ensuring full thermal contact for optimal heat dissipation.
