LED Strip Lighting Solutions
for Hotel Projects

High CRI, Warm White & Seamless Linear Lighting for Luxury and Commercial Hotels.

Challenges in Hotel Lighting Projects

We understand the common issues that lighting contractors and hotel project teams face on-site.

Uneven Brightness

Long LED strip installations often suffer from voltage drop, causing visible brightness differences between the start and end of the run.

Visible LED Dots

Traditional SMD strips create visible dot patterns in cove lighting, undermining the smooth, premium appearance expected in hotels.

Color Inconsistency

Different batches from unreliable suppliers often show visible color temperature shifts, creating an unprofessional appearance across areas.

Maintenance Difficulty

Ceiling and cove installations are hard to access for replacement. Poor quality strips fail prematurely, increasing project maintenance costs.

Warm & Comfortable Light

Hotels require warm, high-CRI lighting that makes guests feel relaxed. Generic LED strips with low CRI produce cold, uninviting environments.

Recommended Specifications for Hotel Lighting

A quick reference guide for lighting designers and project engineers working on hotel projects.

Color Temperature
3000K for warm, relaxing atmosphere in lobby, corridor, and guest rooms. 4000K for modern commercial hotel reception and conference areas.
CRI (Color Rendering)
Minimum CRI 90 recommended. Higher CRI ensures furniture, fabric, and décor appear natural under artificial lighting.
Voltage System
DC 24V system recommended for hotel projects. Lower voltage drop over long distances, safer for recessed installations.
IP Rating
IP20 for dry indoor areas (lobby, corridor, guest room). IP65 for bathroom, spa, pool edge, and outdoor terrace.

Installation Tips for Hotel Cove Lighting

Best practices from our engineering team to ensure a flawless lighting result in hotel projects.

01

Use Aluminum Profiles for Heat Dissipation

Always mount LED strips on aluminum extrusion profiles. This extends lifespan significantly by reducing operating temperature, especially in enclosed ceiling coves.

02

Avoid Single-End Power Supply on Long Runs

For installations over 5 meters, use double-end or mid-point power feeding to prevent voltage drop and maintain uniform brightness along the entire length.

03

Use Diffuser Covers to Eliminate Dots

Pair LED strips with frosted diffuser covers or use COB strips to achieve a smooth, dot-free linear lighting effect required in hotel-grade projects.

04

Select the Right LED Driver

Match driver wattage to 80% of maximum load. Choose dimmable drivers (0-10V or DALI) for guest rooms and spaces requiring atmosphere control.

FAQ — Hotel LED Strip Lighting

Answers to the most common questions from hotel lighting contractors and project managers.

For hotel cove lighting, we recommend COB LED strips with CRI >90 and 3000K color temperature. COB strips produce a seamless, dot-free linear light effect that meets the premium quality expected in hotel environments. DC24V systems are preferred for long cove installations.

We strongly recommend 24V for hotel projects. The 24V system handles longer runs with less voltage drop, which is critical in corridors and large ceiling coves. It also allows thinner wiring and reduces installation complexity.

Most luxury hotels use 2700K to 3000K for lobbies, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For modern or business-oriented hotels, 3500K to 4000K provides a cleaner, contemporary feel. We can provide samples in multiple CCTs for on-site comparison.

Use DC24V strips instead of DC12V, implement double-end or mid-point power injection for runs over 5 meters, and use quality constant-voltage drivers. Our engineering team can provide detailed wiring diagrams for long corridor projects.

Yes. We offer full OEM customization including specific CCT values, custom strip lengths, custom connectors, branded packaging, and private labeling. Minimum order quantities are flexible. Samples are typically ready within 3-5 working days.
