Use a separate strip detail for each villa zone
For UAE and Saudi villa interiors, a DC24V warm-white COB strip in an aluminum profile is a useful first sample for coves and joinery. It cannot cover every zone. Stairs need glare control and service access; bathrooms need a location-specific wet-area review; gardens and facades need protected terminations, drainage and materials suitable for the site.
The six configurations below are starting points for design and sampling. Final selection belongs in the electrical, architectural and interior drawings for the project.

1. Living-room cove: DC24V CRI95 COB in a deep profile
The 8mm CRI95 COB model lists DC12/24V and 12W/m. A DC24V sample can simplify current distribution on longer ceiling branches. Confirm CCT against stone, timber and fabric, then test the actual diffuser depth, driver and dimmer. Keep drivers reachable without opening the finished ceiling.
2. Kitchen and wardrobe joinery: narrow COB with short service sections
The 3mm CRI90 COB model can be evaluated for narrow recesses. The PCB width is not the finished channel width, so coordinate the joinery section first. Divide the run at accessible cable points and keep connectors away from hinges, steam and stored items.
3. Stair handrail or wall slot: diffused low-voltage strip
Use a profile that shields the source from normal eye level and allows cable replacement. The strip’s cut interval must suit landings and corners. Decide whether the stair is switched as one circuit, divided by floor or controlled by sensors, then size each branch separately. The stair-layout guide compares the common options.
4. Bathroom vanity: high color quality with location-appropriate protection
Select CCT and color quality by viewing skin tones and finishes at the mirror. The electrical designer must confirm the bathroom zone, driver position and permitted equipment. A protected strip model does not make a field-cut joint or power supply suitable for a wet location.
5. Garden path or planter: protected DC24V strip with drainage
The DC24V IP68 SMD model is one catalog candidate for review. Check the stated model information against soil moisture, irrigation, cleaning chemicals, sunlight and mounting temperature. Detail the cable entry, end seal, clips and drainage as one replaceable assembly.
6. Facade outline: neon flex with confirmed bend direction
Neon flex provides a visible line for arches and roof edges. Select profile size and bending direction from the elevation and section. Confirm cut unit, feed spacing, wind-resistant mounting and access before ordering. For long mains-voltage options, local electrical design and qualified installation are required.

GCC climate makes boundary locations important
Saudi Arabia’s National Center for Meteorology describes hot summers and differences between coastal and inland regions. A shaded garden detail, an enclosed roof void and a sun-exposed facade can reach different temperatures at the same property. Record the mounting-surface and enclosure temperatures rather than relying on the city weather reading.
Air-conditioned interiors next to humid outdoor spaces also need careful cable entries and drainage. The strip, adhesive, profile, sealant, cable and driver may have different limits. IP classification addresses ingress protection; it does not establish UV resistance, chemical compatibility or operating temperature.

Approve one room and one exterior detail first
Build a full cove or joinery section with the final surface, profile, strip, diffuser, driver and control. Check color beside the actual finishes, low-level dimming, end-to-end brightness and temperature after warm-up. For the exterior sample, include the real termination, clip spacing, drainage and cable entry.
