GCC distributor and project support
LED Strip Supply for GCC Projects and Distribution
Choose the strip around the installation: ambient temperature, powered run length, sealing details, light quality and local importer requirements. We coordinate factory-backed supply for buyers across the Gulf without treating every project as the same product with a different label.
- Standard MOQ: 3,000m
- OEM review from 5,000m
- DC12V, DC24V and AC220V ranges
- Documents checked by model
Start with the installation, not the catalog
What changes when an LED strip is specified for the Gulf?
Heat and outdoor exposure matter, but they are not the only issues. Long cable runs, inaccessible coves, project deadlines and local importer documentation often decide whether a product is workable.
- 01
Will the strip be installed inside an air-conditioned space, in a ventilated cove, or on an exposed facade?
- 02
What is the powered run length, and where can drivers or AC220V rectifier accessories be maintained?
- 03
Does the project need a finished luminaire document set, a light-source report, or documents for separate control gear?
- 04
Will the same CCT, LED source, cable and packaging specification be needed for repeat orders?
Application fit
Common GCC applications we can review
Each application uses a different approval checklist. A cabinet strip should not be specified like an outdoor contour line, even when both are described as IP65.
Hotels and hospitality
Cove, headboard, lobby and corridor lighting where CCT, dimming, glare and maintainability need early agreement.

Facades and outdoor contours
Long-run building outlines where thermal conditions, UV exposure, end sealing, cable entries and fixing methods affect service life.

Retail and display lighting
Shelf, showroom and cabinet lighting where continuous light, product color and replacement access influence model selection.

Three useful starting points for GCC buyers
These are product families, not automatic recommendations. Final selection depends on the approved electrical and installation specification.
Hospitality and interiors
DC24V COB LED Strip
A practical starting point for continuous linear light in profiles, coves and joinery.
- CCT and CRI by selected model
- PCB width and aluminum profile fit
- Powered run length and dimming method
Long-run applications
AC220V LED Strip
Useful where long runs reduce the practicality of multiple remote drivers, provided protection and accessories are planned correctly.
- Cutting unit and maximum powered length
- Rectifier, plug and connector configuration
- Access control and installation safety
Exposed construction
Waterproof and Silicone Strip
For protected outdoor work where the complete construction must be reviewed, including joints and cable entries.
- IP construction by model
- UV, heat and chemical exposure
- End caps, sealant and mounting method
Before quotation
Information that makes a GCC quotation useful
A model number alone is rarely enough. Send the installation conditions and commercial requirements so the quote can be compared on the same basis.
Open the buyer's import checklistApplication and environment
Indoor, sheltered outdoor or exposed location; expected ambient conditions; contact with water, dust, cleaning agents or salt air.
Electrical layout
Input voltage, required run length, feed points, driver location, dimming or control protocol, and available cable route.
Light requirement
CCT or color, CRI, brightness target, visible dot tolerance, profile diffuser and any approved visual sample.
Mechanical construction
PCB or silicone size, cutting interval, cable exit, connector, end sealing, reel length and installation profile.
Commercial scope
Quantity per specification, destination, target order date, private label needs and carton or pallet limits.
Document scope
Importer checklist, project submittal format, labeling language and the exact models that need supporting reports.
Importer and project review
Compliance starts with the importer and exact product scope
GCC countries do not use one universal lighting approval. Requirements can change with product construction, power supply, sales channel and destination. We provide available factory documents and model details; the local importer or project consultant confirms what must be registered or submitted.
- Confirm whether the strip, driver, plug set or finished kit is the regulated product.
- Match every certificate or report to the model, electrical rating and construction on the quotation.
- Agree rating-label, packaging and language requirements before mass production.
- Keep samples and approved documents linked to the same order specification.
Order workflow
A regional order still needs a product-level workflow
The same four checkpoints apply to a distributor refill and a project order, although the amount of testing and documentation may differ.
- 01
Define the use
Send the location, run length, voltage, light requirement, quantity and destination.
- 02
Shortlist models
Compare feasible constructions and identify missing technical or importer information.
- 03
Approve the reference
Confirm quotation, sample, labeling, packaging and inspection points before production.
- 04
Inspect and dispatch
Check the order against the agreed plan and prepare the matched packing and document set.
Buyer questions
Questions We Clarify Before an Order
These answers set the direction. The quotation and approved sample remain the product-specific reference.
Do you keep stock in the GCC?
LedStripStar currently coordinates supply from China. Stock, consolidation and destination arrangements are quoted for each order; we do not claim local inventory unless it is confirmed in writing.
Is IP68 always the best choice for outdoor GCC projects?
No. The right construction depends on water exposure, drainage, UV, temperature, chemicals, bending and repair access. An IP rating does not cover a poorly sealed cut, connector or cable entry.
Can one document set be used across every GCC country?
Not automatically. The importer should confirm the destination rules and regulated product scope. We then check which reports and model details are available for the selected configuration.
Which voltage should a GCC distributor stock?
There is no single answer. DC24V is common for controlled interior systems, while AC220V can suit selected long-run applications. Customer skill level, accessories, safety and local requirements should guide the range.
