Sanan LEDs for LED Strip Lights: What Buyers Should Know

LEDStripStar uses Sanan LEDs. Sanan Optoelectronics is a Chinese semiconductor company with LED epitaxial-wafer and chip activities. For a strip buyer, the brand identifies one part of the product specification. The finished strip’s brightness, color, power and suitability for an installation still need to be checked for the exact model.

Our standard product warranty is 2 years. Standard products start at 500 meters; custom products start at 2,000 meters. These commercial terms are separate from a claim about projected operating life, and the written quotation should identify the selected configuration and warranty coverage.

Who is Sanan?

Sanan’s official LED business page describes research, manufacturing and sales of high-brightness LED epitaxy and chips. It lists applications including general lighting, displays, backlighting, automotive lighting and horticulture. This is company-level background, not a datasheet for a particular LED strip.

Ask how the LED brand is recorded on the selected order and whether the exact component designation is available. A general introduction cannot establish the LED package, operating current or color bin used in a particular production specification.

Separate the chip, LED package and finished strip

The chip is the semiconductor light-emitting element. A packaged SMD LED includes the chip and packaging materials; the finished strip adds a PCB, an electrical circuit and other construction details. COB strip uses a different assembly arrangement, with multiple chips under a continuous light-emitting surface.

Confirm whether a quotation’s brand field describes the chip source or the packaged LED. Do not assume those are interchangeable or infer a direct purchasing relationship with Sanan from a brand statement. If a buyer requires an exact component designation, settle that requirement before accepting the order.

Evaluate the actual strip being offered

For white-light supply, check the selected CCT and CRI together with the intended application. LEDStripStar’s catalog includes an 8mm CRI80 COB model and an 8mm CRI95 COB model. The shared LED brand does not make those specifications identical. Check their other fields and confirm the selected voltage and color variant.

Where output matters, request the required lumens per meter and power per meter in the purchasing specification. Do not substitute an individual LED’s efficacy range for the completed strip’s output. If a field is not established for the offered model, keep it pending instead of filling it with a figure from a brand overview.

For adjoining installations or repeat orders, agree the required color consistency and sample reference. A CCT label alone does not settle visible differences between batches. Use the color-consistency guide to describe what needs to match.

Approve the sample in the intended mounting profile with the planned driver and controls. Inspect the light at the working distance, check dimming where required, and record the accepted model and configuration. Any measurements used for acceptance need agreed conditions; a visual sample review is not a laboratory report.

Before ordering, confirm warranty coverage and the claim process in writing. A warranty period does not establish an operating-hour rating. Installation labor, refunds and replacement remedies also need an agreement; the stated period alone does not establish those terms.

Send the chosen model, voltage, color, quantity and destination through the quotation form. Include any exact component, output or batch-matching requirement that affects your buying decision. Keep the accepted specification with the sample approval record for later orders.
