Why Neon Flex Looks Different from Standard LED Strips

Standard LED strips show individual LED dots when viewed directly. Even high-density COB strips, while dot-free, produce a visible line of light that doesn’t match the glowing tube appearance of neon.

Neon flex strips place SMD LEDs inside a milky silicone tube. The silicone diffuses the light completely, producing:

• Uniform glow along the entire length — no hot spots or dots
• Classic “neon tube” appearance — indistinguishable from glass neon at a glance
• Side-view lighting — light comes out through the side, not just the top
• Consistent brightness — no brighter or darker spots

Addressable RGB Magic Effect

This neon strip uses addressable pixel control, meaning each segment can display a different color at the same time. Unlike standard RGB strips that change the entire length to one color, addressable RGB creates:

Neon flex strips are designed to be bent into shapes for signage and decorative lighting. The flexible silicone allows bending down to a 20mm radius, making it possible to create:

Important bending rules:

Installation Best Practices
